Description

The Service Lane Technology (SLT) market never slows down. New providers, new dominant technology (or maybe just new, hot technology), and lots of new dealers on the tech have all driven the market’s growth. With BDCs now expected to interact with SLT, the space continues to grow more complicated. Rather than survey everyone’s SLT activities, this session will focus on each OEM’s biggest SLT strategies. While one OEM may push video the most, another may instead try to increase the percentage of appointments scheduled online, and a third might be doing away with paper multipoint inspection reports entirely. This session will kickoff with a presentation by the Ducker Carlisle team (or potentially one of our conference sponsors in the space) highlighting key trends happening in the world of SLT. We’ll then move into OEM discussion of current strategies along with the opportunities and problems (DMS integration, inconsistent experiences, etc.) that OEMs face as they drive more customers to these technologies.
