As an industry, it’s impossible to go a day without hearing about the Technician shortage. What about the extraordinarily high Service Advisor turnover that shows no signs of slowing? Only four brands had measurably decreased Service Advisor turnover last year. It’s true that technicians are the biggest limiting factor on service capacity, but without adequate support, they’re less efficient and less satisfied. The Steering Committee selected the most critical non-Technician position – Service Advisors, due to their important relationship with technicians, and we’ll focus discussion on how to retain those staff.
