A: All 2024 Focus Days are planned to be in-person. Focus Days provide opportunities for subject matter experts to spend a full day discussing their area of expertise. Facilitated by Ducker Carlisle, these events are enable industry peers to network, discuss challenges, and share best practices and lessons learned at a level of detail offered nowhere else.
The benefit of an in-person meeting truly comes from the discussion and networking opportunities throughout the day – Ducker Carlisle offers multiple opportunities (such as breakfast, lunch, and afternoon breaks) for attendees to network and discuss topics in a more casual setting.
A: To foster better discussions, Ducker Carlisle allows no more than two attendees per company. All attendees are expected to be true subject matter experts (SMEs) who will contribute to the conversation – no bystanders! Ducker Carlisle limits attendance in order to maintain a relatively small and intimate group where people feel comfortable talking openly and sharing information.
A: Generally speaking, subject matter experts (SMEs) are asked to complete a questionnaire and develop a few presentation pages prior to the meeting. The questionnaire responses help provide an overview of what is going on in the industry within that topic, while the presentation pages are developed by the SMEs to share their case studies with the group.
A: Ducker Carlisle started offering Focus Days in 2011. Since then, Ducker Carlisle has hosted well over 75. Attendees have rated virtually all of them with 100% satisfaction. Anecdotally, participants indicate that their ROI was very high.
A: In the event that you are unable to attend a Focus Day that you committed to, Ducker Carlisle asks that you still complete the information request provided by Ducker Carlisle. In return, you will receive the presentation and final report, along with any other deliverables from the Focus Day. No refunds will be given for the cancellation, unless the day itself is cancelled by Ducker Carlisle.
A: Exact timing and final schedule are pending OEM commitments to 2024 Focus Days. Preparation begins several months before the meetings actually take place. Ducker Carlisle will begin the process by reaching out to appropriate SMEs for learning objectives.
